The Paediatric Psychiatric Liaison Service provides specialist mental health assessment, support, and consultation for children and young people aged 0–18 presenting to the acute trust and emergency department (ED) in Newcastle and Gateshead.
Operating 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, the service aims to deliver timely, compassionate, and clinically robust responses to mental health needs within acute settings.
