There are several car parks at Monkwearmouth Hospital which staff, patients and visitors can use.
Parking charges apply between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. The charges are:
0 – 60 minutes: £1.00
1 – 2 hours: £1.50
2 – 3 hours: £2.00
3 – 4 hours: £2.50
4+ hours: £8.00
Parking is free for CNTW staff if they have registered their vehicle.

If you are visiting a patient during working hours and plan to stay longer than 3 – 4 hours, you will not have to pay the full £8 rate. Ask a member of staff to contact the car park management team and confirm you are visiting patients, and your charge will be capped at £2.50.
