Adult Secure Provider Provider Collaborative

We are a partnership of mental health, learning disability and autism services working together to make a real difference to the lives of adults across our region.

Our goal is simple: to provide care that is closer to home, more personalised, and shaped by what matters most to each individual.

By working collaboratively, we can:

  • Reduce variation in services and outcomes
  • Tackle health inequalities
  • Make the best use of resources across our region

For adults, this means earlier intervention and support within the community. When admission is needed, we ensure services are guided by the voices and experiences of patients and carers—delivering care that is safer, more effective, and more compassionate.

Our Aims and Aspirations

We are committed to:

  • Providing services close to home
  • Caring for people in the least restrictive setting
  • Supporting smooth transitions back into the community with timely discharge

Our focus is on transforming adult secure care across the region by:

  • Improving care pathways
  • Building strong links between health, social care and the criminal justice system

Adult Secure Lived Experience Advisory Group (LEAG)

The Adult Secure Lived Experience Advisory Group (LEAG) works with the Adult Secure Provider Collaborative Implementation Group to ensure that the voice of lived experience is embedded in every piece of work undertaken by the Adult Secure Provider Collaborative.

Lived Experience Advisory Group (LEAG) Members have agreed to:

  • Join in as best as they can
  • Try to mix up who they sit with, get to know each other and help new people settle in
  • Always act appropriately with no swearing
  • Respect each other’s ideas
  • If they want to challenge something do this respectfully as the meeting is a safe space. Be kind.
  • Listen to each other and not talk over anyone else
  • Give people time to finish speaking
  • Take turns to talk and ask questions and be supportive of each other
  • Remember that everyone’s voice is equal
  • Follow the meeting agenda
