We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment, welcoming volunteers from all backgrounds and valuing the diverse perspectives, skills, and experiences they bring. This diversity is essential in helping us effectively meet the needs of those we serve.

Volunteers contribute significantly where there is an identified need to a range of non-clinical activities across CNTW, complementing the work of healthcare professionals and enhancing the overall experience for service users, and their families and our staff colleagues.

Here at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW), we are truly blessed to have people working with and for us who do amazing things every day to help care for and support the people we serve.  Amongst those people are the very special people that volunteer and provide their time and energies to help enrich the lives of our patients and carers.  They make an immense contribution to CNTW, the Council of Governors and Board of Directors are extremely grateful to each and every one of them for their time and efforts. They represent humanity at its very best!
