Cleadon – Older People’s Inpatient Service (Monkwearmouth Hospital) – CNTW196

Cleadon is an inpatient unit based at Monkwearmouth Hospital in Sunderland. Cleadon has 18 beds providing assessment and treatment by a multi disciplinary health and social care team. They will support you with a range of different treatments and therapies. The team involved in your care could include:

• Psychologists
• Speech and Language Therapists
• Social Workers

Cleadon is for older people with mental health problems arising from functional disorders such as depression, anxiety or psychosis.

How can I get referred?

You can be referred by a Specialist Mental Health Service, which you can access through your GP.
